Thank you for your interest in swim lessons with Little Swimmers in Concord. For

Meanwhile,
as the goal is for the most cost effective, to have an hour lesson, I do need to
find 5-6 moms for the same hour slot. If anyone is fine with just a 1/2 hour time
slot, that will only need 3 moms/babies. An hour and a 1/2 hour lesson are the same
price of $85.00 + the one time $35.00 registration fee. I have emailed out my 'quick
recap' of swim lessons and our experiences already but if you did not receive, it
let me know and I will gladly email it to you as well. Registration and the Waiver
form along with the tuition can be provided upon your first lesson.
The location of
the pool is at a home but there is a separate guest house with a bathroom/shower
so that you can rinse off if you like after the lesson (not as needed as it is saltwater)
and also use the room to change in before/after the lesson. Further, they also have
patio furniture for you to use if you would like to relax there as well as an older
children's jungle gym and grass area for them to play on during the lesson should
you need it.
Here are the available times, the slots will be filled on a first come,
first email basis so as soon as you know you would like a spot in the time slot,
let me know and I will confirm it.

Several of us have been enjoying Swim Lessons through “Little Swimmers” in Concord due to their Mom’s Group discount rate, saltwater (not chlorine) pool and individual teacher lessons. I currently have arranged for two groups for one hour lessons on Mondays and Wed. afternoons. I am maintaining a running list of interested moms as lessons open up every 4 weeks and will continue to let those interested know of the opportunity to fit into your schedule. I currently have Tuesdays at 9:00-10:00 am with six slots open and also a half hour lesson on Thursdays for three slots at 2-2:30 pm. Hello Moms and Babies!
Many of you expressed an interest in 'swim lessons' but of
course, coordinating everyone's schedule is going to be a bit difficult for everyone
to take the same lesson it seems. Therefore, I am providing below several 'swim lesson
options' that I have found so should you be unable to join us, you can look into
these other options! Meanwhile, the first option is "Little Swimmers" in Concord.
I'm waiting to confirm their available swim schedule right now and will send that
information out. From that point, whomever can attend based on that schedule, we'll
hopefully have at least 3+ moms for each group so that each group can get the discount!
At
this time, whomever is interested in the first option, please email me your 'available'
times and dates. The reason why I am going with this option is because Kylah is 3
1/2 months so the other schools do not accept her yet but feel free to attend any
of them!

Mommy and Me sing and swim class there are opening
at the Renaissance Club Sport in Walnut Creek. The class is open to members and non-members
it takes place on wednesdays from 6 to 6:30. It is $60 for members and $90 for non
members.

This one has THREE locations (Pleasant Hill, Concord and Walnut Creek) and also offers Saturday lessons and weekend NIGHT classes. Several of you had asked about this as an option so hope this one helps. It is a year round option. Their school appears to accept 3 months and up children...though normally 6 months but they are a little more then the first option though the classes are more frequent (3 times a week)

Linda Brooks also mentioned this one as very 'inviting' as she passes by it on the way home! I believe Maria from DayOne's children also attend this one. Her website says the babies do need to be 8 months to begin though...

A fellow mom, Iza found a program in Concord that is hosting swim lessons called "Little Swimmers" and there is a discount for 3+ moms along with the duration of the lesson. Interested? Let me know as we are trying to work out a schedule for the lessons too.

New Sessions and Sign Ups Available Now!
I am currently assisting any interested mothers in coordinating “Mom’s Groups” for swim lessons. “Little Swimmers” in Concord provides a group discount for every 5-6 moms for an hour lesson for $85.00. I have several openings for classes in Sept. and Oct. Lessons are year round as the pool is covered for the babies in the summer and will have an airtight dome to maintain its heat during the winter months.
