Our wonderful nanny, Fuey, is looking for full time work (M-F) and weekends if necessary. She currently works for us on a full-time basis. Most recently, my husband and I made the tough decision to place our daughter into daycare beginning 2010. We hate that we will be losing Fuey. She is a great support to our family. Our daughter adores her and that is why we want to help her find full time work. Fuey is interested in another nanny position. She is fantastic with our 1 year old daughter. She is patient, loving, positive...most importantly, TRUSTWORTHY. Fuey is from Taiwan and is fluent in her native tongue. She has kids of her own (who are all in high school, now) and has lots of nanny experience. I can't say enough great things about her. She makes food, takes the baby to the park, classes and even cleans when the baby is napping. She also babysits in the evenings for us when we want to go out. She has great references. Looking for families to join a newly forming Child Care/Baby Sit Co-Op in Walnut Creek. Are you interested in participating in a child care co-op where your child can interact with similar age children while you meet new families and build community? I have a bummies cloth diapering kit for sale. I don't have the box, the diapers have been washed, but never used and the diaper covers have never been used..so everything is basically brand new. It includes: 6 small (8-15lbs) super whisper wraps, 3 dozen small unbleached cotton prefold diapers, and two rolls of flushable biosoft liners (100 sheets each). Nanny Recommendation (part-time work):

Our nanny Eva is looking for more hours since her other family will be placing their 2 year old in preschool. Eva is available all day Monday, all day Tuesday and Thursday until noon starting in mid to late April. On the other days, she watches our 2 year old daughter. I'm also open to doing a nanny-share on Wednesdays. Eva lives in Concord/Clayton area and we live in Walnut Creek.

Eva is a wonderful caregiver and has become part of our little family. Our daughter calls her "Aunty Eva" and adores her. Eva is caring, responsible, FUN, creative, lovable, so energetic. She knows sign-language and is learning Mandarin along with our daughter.

North Panhandle bedroom in a furnished cozy middle flat on Cole at Hayes. I’m downsizing my family photography business after more than 20 years and use the front 2 rooms for conducting sessions. They happen during the day as well as the weekends as needed.

 

This is an ideal place for someone working in SF during the week.  And as long as you don’t mind the craziness of kids running around the flat during the approximately 1-hour sessions, cross-over time is fine with me! Street parking only, which is not impossible. Parking spaces are often available for rent in the neighborhood.

Looking for the right mature, non-smoking, easy-going neat and clean individual.

Great central location: 2 blocks from GGPark  & USF. 1 block from St. Mary’s hospital.  Short walk across the Panhandle to the Haight. Friendly neighborhood with a great corner store.

The east-facing bedroom is approximately 11x11 with decent closet space, bay windows with a relaxing tree view. Additional amenities include modest kitchen, soon-to-be furnished living room (my office is there) with working fireplace, Mill Valley redwood wainscoting, claw-foot tub with shower (split bathroom), washer and dryer and Internet. There is also a large backyard shared with the other 2 units.  Sorry, but no pets since I am very allergic although I do occasionally photograph them with their families.


Room available around May 1st.  Move-in date negotiable.

Rent: $1,500 including Internet and PG&E. Cable not activated, but available.
Lease: Month to month, though long term stay (6+ months) is preferred.

Move in: First month’s rent $1,500+ Security/cleaning deposit $1,000 = $2,500

DayOne, The Center for New and Expectant Parents, has several part time job opportunities at our Palo Alto and Walnut Creek Centers. We are excited to be expanding our lactation programs to 6 days a week coverage to provide more support for our patients. In Palo Alto, we are seeking a CLE or CLC for a 16 hr per week position as a Lactation Assistant/Education Coordinator. The CLE/CLC will assist our IBCLCs with setting up appointments, answering new parents questions in the center and on the phone, following up with patients as directed by the LCs and overseeing the education program (confirming instructors and verifying class materials are ready for classes).

In Walnut Creek, we are also seeking a CLE or CLC for a 16 hr per week position as a Lactation Assistant/Education Coordinator. In addition, we are looking for a per diem IBCLC to fill in hours, particularly Saturdays.

Our San Francisco center is currently fully staffed with 3 IBCLCs and one CLE.

Chicco Cortina KeyFit30 infant carseat with base and stroller for sell. Purchased in January 2009 and used for ~1 year, so is in great condition. New price for travel system ~$350 and would like to sell for $200, since baby #2 is on the way and need to purchase a double stroller soon. As a new mom I loved the travel system; carseat was light and comfortable, so when my son fell asleep in the car would just transport him in carseat into room and he would sleep for hours. Stroller was easy to fold and unfold as well as light enough to take in and out of the car constantly. The travel system was definitely my life saver.
